During Lent, we move toward Easter and celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The week before Easter, we participate in services with other downtown churches each day at noon, followed by a light lunch. On Maundy Thursday, we remember Jesus' last supper by sharing communion and observing the shadows of a candle-lit Tennebrae service. On Easter Sunday, we have a fellowship breakfast and an Easter egg hunt before joyfully celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
