Christianity and World Religions

Christianity and World Religions is an 6 week video based study that explores four major world religions and compares the beliefs of each with those of Christianity. Christian Believer

Christian Believer is a 31 week study of the beliefs of the Christian faith; it integrates Bible study and Christian doctrine. Participants in the study will: explore both the Scripture and the teaching of the church shaped from those Scriptures, read the testimony of God's Word and the creeds and confessions of the church, learn the content of Christian doctrine with fellow believers as well with scores fo believers from across the ages - Augustine, Hildegard, Calvin, Luther, Wesley, Georgia Harkness, wrestle with some of the questions of belief Christians have wrestled with for the last 2000 years and enjoy learning, dialogue and fellowship. The Prophets and Kings of Israel

Financial Peace University

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University is a 13 week class that teaches biblically-based personal finance and accountability. The class is taught by Dave Ramsey himself via DVD, followed by small group discussion time. Call the church office 915/533-7551 for more information and registration information. Modern Parables: Living in the Kingdom of God is a new kind of Bible study. This is an original film based Bible study curriculum based on Jesus' parables. The modern short films will enable us to engage the Bible in a powerful new way and help us understand the Biblical text with more insight and apply what we learn to our daily lives. We will study the "Hidden Treasure", "the Samaritan", "the Shrewd Manager", " The Widow and the Judge", " The Sower" and "the Prodigal Son". Class will be in the Robert M. Community Pancake Breakfast

First Presbyterian Church will be holding a Pancake Breakfast to introduce our renovated Community Hall to the greater El Paso community. The Hall will now be available at reasonable rates for weddings, meetings, quinceaneras, dances, baby showers and other events.
Cost for the pancake breakfast is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.
